Do you remember LIFE Magazine?
From 1936 to 2000, the weekly magazine was famous for its world class photography (and the articles about their subjects).
Recently Life joined together with Getty images, making its 60-70 year archives of photographs available through the Internet, as well a providing a free weekly on-line newsletter …. ie of topical news and the photos that go with them.

Talking about life …. came across a notable quote from Shimon Peres (Current President of Israel) courtesy of a book by Paulo Coello:
“The optimist and the pessimist both die in the end, but each lives life in a completely different way.”
Is that an optimistic thought? I think so.
